With G Suite Sites, Google’s website development tool, you can create a professional-looking website in a matter of minutes. G Suite Sites makes building a website easy with a variety of built-in templates, or you can start with a blank canvas and let your imagination take over!
Participants can choose to create one of the following websites:
- Personal – Tell your personal story, your hobbies, and your experiences!
- Travel – Share your travel experiences with others through pictures and a blog!
- Event – Promote your Summer Event (Pool Party, BBQ, Family Reunion, Birthday, Anniversary)
If you have pictures in a digital format that you would like to include as part of your website, please feel free to include them!

- Learn the Basics for Building Your Own Website
- Adding Banners
- Adding Text and Media
- Adding Pages
- Register for a Domain Name
Prerequisites: Familiar with Microsoft Windows 10 or the MacOS, and the Google Chrome Web Browser. You must have a Bates Gmail account or a personal Gmail account. A computer (Windows or Mac) with Internet access will be necessary to access G Suite Sites.
