Course and Catalog Manager

The Course and Catalog Manager (CCM) replaces many functions that were previously found in Garnet Gateway.  It also allows faculty to manage changes to existing courses and to submit edits during the annual catalog editing cycle.

To access the Course and Catalog Manager, go here.

Faculty

Faculty have certain capabilities in the Course and Catalog Manager, namely proposing new courses, editing existing courses, and voting on course proposals if they are part of any relevant committees. See Resources below for technical documentation, instructional videos, and how to set up a training session for yourself or a group of colleagues.

Department/Program Chairs

In addition to their capabilities in the Course and Catalog Manager as faculty, Department/Program Chairs will find that much of their course approval process work has also migrated to CCM. Things like reading, commenting on, and approving new course proposals, as well as editing their department/program’s page in the catalog, now all live in CCM. Please write to the Registrar (registrar@bates.edu) to set up training.
