Congratulations on being admitted to Bates and for accepting the offer to join our academic community. The Student Affairs team as well as current students, staff, and faculty across the college look forward to welcoming you to campus as members of the Class of 2022.

In the meantime, you can mark your calendars: Opening Day of Orientation for all students entering Bates this fall will be Monday, August 27th, 2018. This day will include residential move-in and offer sessions for parents and families that may be joining their students’ for arrival. Following Monday, all Orientation activities will be just for students and will extend through the first day of classes the following week.

We’re at work designing a vibrant, engaging, and informative orientation program for you, for which the schedule will be available in early Spring. In the meantime, feel free to explore and ask questions as they arise.

Welcome!
