Spend a fall afternoon exploring the Sonoran Desert and connecting with local Bobcats! This Bates and Beyond event is hosted by Laura Jean Montenegro ’83, this two-part gathering offers a fresh look at Tucson’s history and a chance to catch up with fellow Bates alumni.

  • Guided Desert Tour: Take an easy hike through Saguaro National Park to discover ancient Hohokam rock art and learn how local wildlife adapts to desert extremes.
  • Gathering at Monterey Court: Head 10 miles southeast to relax over food and drinks, swap stories, and share your journey from Lewiston to Arizona.
