2025 Employee Enrichment Photo Contest

– Sponsored by the Enrichment Week Planning Committee

Eligibility

The contest is open to all current Bates staff, faculty, and retirees.

  • Each entry must be submitted on an individual basis (i.e., no team or joint entries).
  • All photos must be an original photograph taken by the employee.
  • Only non‐commercial work may be submitted.
  • Employees may only submit one photo per category.

Timeline

  • Photo submission
    • Opens on Monday, May 19th, at noon.
    • Closes on Friday, May 30th, at noon. Entries received afterward will not be entered.
  • Voting
    • Opens on Monday, June 2, 2024 at noon.
    • Closes on Wednesday, June 11, at noon.
  • Winners will be announced on Friday, June 13, at noon.
  • Photos will be displayed online until June 30, 2025.

The Enrichment Week Committee reserves the right to reject photos deemed to be inappropriate for public display.

Judging

All winners will be People’s Choice. All employees of the college will be eligible to vote for their favorite photo in each category, and a People’s Choice Award in each category will be named.

Prizes and Awards

There will be a winner for each category. To allow for wider recognition, employees may win in only one category.

Prize winners will each receive a “Customizable Photo Variety Package”, valued at $XX each, sponsored by Post & Print. Optional items include postcards, note cards, and an assortment of prints of your winning photo.
