Join Bates football alumni, parents, and friends for the Annual Alan Goddard ’53 Football Golf Outing at the beautiful Wentworth by the Sea Country Club.
Outing Schedule
Registration – 11:30 am
Lunch will be available during registration.
Pavilion
Golf Begins – 1 pm
Shotgun start in a scramble format.
Designated starting position
Dinner
There will be a BBQ buffet provided as golfers leave the course, with outing winners and raffle winners announced during the meal.

Single Registration – alumni, parents, friends, and current students: $300
Foursome Registration – alumni, parents, friends, and current students: $1,200
Single Registration (Classes 2023-2025): $250
Foursome Registration (Classes 2023-2025): $1,000
Meals — lunch and dinner/no golf: $50

On June 23, 2025, over 100 football alumni, spanning from the classes of 1967 to 2024, gathered in scenic Rye, New Hampshire, at the historic Wentworth by the Sea Country Club for a memorable day on the links. THE 2025 annual Alan Goddard ’53 Football Golf Outing held special significance as we not only honored Alan’s enduring legacy but also celebrated an incredible milestone: 150 years of football excellence. It was a day filled with camaraderie, friendly competition, and shared passion for the sport that unites us all.
