Enduring Legacy: A Phillips Society Webinar

The Office of Gift Planning is proud to partner with the Edmund S. Muskie Archives and Special Collections Library for a special virtual presentation on Lewiston-Auburn history through the lens of community engagement.

Enduring Legacy is a series of webinars exclusively for members of the Phillips Society, highlighting the creative and rigorous scholarship happening in Bates’ collaborative residential community. Once registered, you’ll receive the Zoom link and additional event details. We look forward to seeing you there!

During this webinar, we will learn how the college is partnering with organizations across the region, including the Riverside Cemetery and the Lewiston Public Library, to preserve our rich history.

The Edmund S. Muskie Archives and Special Collections Library supports the mission of Bates College by acquiring, caring for, and making accessible historically significant records of the college, rare books, oral histories, and manuscript collections, including the papers of U. S. Senator Edmund S. Muskie for whom the library is named.

The library serves a broad and diverse audience by producing exhibits, conducting educational and outreach programs, publishing its holdings, and making its collections and programs publicly available.
