Join the Bates College Choir, led by Assistant Professor of Music, Zen Kuriyama, for the annual fall concert entitled “Hope & Resilience: African American Spirituals” at the Olin Arts Center Concert Hall (75 Russell St, Lewiston, ME 04240). Before the concert at 7pm, there will be a pre-concert lecture by Dale Chapman, professor of music, which is included with the concert ticket.

Following the concert, meet up with us at the Fireplace Lounge in Commons to commemorate and reminisce on Bates’ rich history in the art of vocal performances.
Enjoy the alumni community, celebrate the students and their performance, and you’ll even have the opportunity to build community through song; Professor Zen Kuriyama will lead the group through a short piece of music (The Parting Glass). We welcome everyone to join, regardless of experience!
