On the global release day of her newest novel, The Things We Never Say, the Bates community will gather at the Peter Jay Sharp Theater to hear from Elizabeth Strout ’77, P’94, GP’23. The evening features an intimate look at Strout’s work through an excerpt from the new book, followed by an interview and a conversation with the audience.
As an alumna, parent, and grandparent, Elizabeth embodies the multi-generational “Bobcat family” connection. The evening offers a unique opportunity for the Bates community in New York to gather and celebrate the achievements of a distinguished alumna on the global release day of her latest work.
