Google’s multimodal AI model, which can “understand and reason across different types of information including text, images, audio, video, and code.” Gemini is available for all Bates users from the Bates Google Workspace and unlike the alternative ChatBots described below is governed by existing privacy and data privacy protection agreements.

LMStudio.ai is a freely available application you can install on your personal computer to run LLM’s locally on your computer for experimentation and testing (see about for further details).

Hugging Face Hub is a platform and repository of LLMs, datasets, and demo apps (or Spaces) that allow any one to “explore, experiment, collaborate, and build technology with Machine Learning.”
