From Bates to the Olympics: A Conversation with Nancy Ingersoll Fidler ’78

Nancy Ingersoll Fiddler ’78 began her cross-country skiing journey at Bates. The journey led to 14 national championship titles, two Olympic teams, and 4 World Championship teams.

She remains very active in the sport and recently collaborated with a group of women Olympic cross-country skiers on the book, Trail to Gold, a Journey of 53 Women Skiers, which details a 50-year history of the sport in the United States.
