Guided by a comprehensive facilities planning process, Bates has created a range of superb new buildings and spaces since 2006 that address the needs and interests of our academic community.
In April 2013, Bates engaged Ann Beha Architects to develop a Programming and Conceptual Design Study for student Residential and Campus Life Project. Phase one of this study is underway with the construction of two new residence halls and the relocation of our Campus Store and Post & Print. Phase two will include a re-imagined and revitalized Chase Hall that will become the hub of campus life at Bates.
