It’s summer, which in Maine means heat with occasional rain. If you’re looking for ways to cool down, the library has plenty of books and music to get lost in.

Maine InfoNet Download Library makes using an Android phone, Kindle Fire, Nook, iPad, mp3 player or just about any device to access free Audiobooks and eBooks quick and easy.

We are delighted to now have subscription access to the full DNSA files providing coverage of more than 90,000 curated primary source documents culled from the collections of the National Security Archive.

Besides the new recycling/waste stations and the book display on sustainability at the entrance of the building, the Ladd library staff recently achieved a Level 2 Green certification based on their green practices. Let’s keep up the good work!

The SWAT team of Research Librarians, Help Desk staff and Peer Tutors will be on hand for the final details this Thursday, March 26th, at 6 – 10pm. We’ll be waiting for you back by the Big Screen nook in the Library!
