FS: Recycling Collector (S9756B)
Summary, Scope, and Responsibilities
This person will assist with the collection of recycling from campus buildings. He or she may also be asked to sort materials.
Specific responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:
- Drive/Ride in a vehicle to all campus buildings
- Pick up recycling containers and empty them
- Sort recyclables
- Take recyclables to designated depository

Hours: 10 (preferred hours fall between 9AM-4PM on weekdays)
Qualifications, Requirements, and Responsibilities
Recycling Collectors must have a valid driver's license. Any knowledge of the college's recycling program is a plus.
Recycling Collectors report to John Griffiths and work closely with grounds employees and custodial employees.
These students work on the campus grounds, grounds garage, and in all campus buildings. Recycling Collectors work around campus in the local Lewiston area. They must be able to lift and carry up to 60lbs, and perform basic physical labor. Recycling Collectors also must be able to drive a standard transmission, use hand dollies, pallet trucks, and use other materials to handle equipment based on circumstances and abilities.
