
AESOP trips encourage authenticity, connection
The Class of 2030, the third largest in Bates history, gathered to kick off AESOP on Friday, Aug. 28 — the day after move-in day.
| Collect posters for distribution from the museum’s Academic Administrative Assistant (AAA) and distribute throughout campus bulletin boards, a week or more in advance of a events taking place in the museum. |
Managing time effectively to ensure that posters are up around campus in advance of events taking place at the Bates Museum of Art. Maintaining communication with the museum AAA to ensure timelines for event advertising stay on schedule.
Familiarity with Bates Campus
Reports to museum Academic Administrative Assistant, Hilary Gibson.
-Knowledge of campus layout
-Ability to carry posters in a file weighing ~2 pounds
-Ability to go all around campus and look for as many bulletin boards as possible, potentially wandering through buildings and dorms to find poster locations
-Ability to commit time and energy to going around campus as needed
